I. India - Kazakhstan organise Defence Cooperation: Webinar and Expo

1. A webinar between India and Kazakhstan was held on 15/10/2020. The Theme of webinar was “Make In India For The World, India – Kazakhstan Defence Cooperation: Webinar and Expo”. It was organized under the aegis of Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence through FICCI.
2. This webinar is the part of the series of webinars which are being organized with friendly foreign countries in order to boost defence exports and achieve defence export target of $5 billion in the next five years.

II. ECI appoints Shri M K Das as Special Police Observer for Bye-Elections to Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh

1. Election Commission of India has appointed Sh. Mrinal Kanti Das (IPS 1977 Retd.) as Special Police Observer for the upcoming Bye-Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh.
2. As Special Police Observer, Sh. M K Das is assigned to observe the conduct of bye-elections and poll preparedness, especially with regard to security related issues.

III. Lt Gen SK Saini, Vice Chief of the Army Staff visits United States of America

1. Lt Gen SK Saini, Vice Chief of the Army Staff is proceeding on a visit to the United States of America from 17 to 20 Oct 2020. The aim of the visit is to enhance military cooperation between both the armies.
2. The Vice Chief of the Army Staff will visit the US Army Pacific Command (USARPRAC), the Army component of Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and exchange ideas extensively with the military leadership apart from witnessing training and equipment capabilities of US Army.
