1. 28th “Hunar Haat” being organised at Kala Academy, Panaji (Goa) from 26th March to 4th April

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that “Hunar Haat” is a “Perfect, Popular and Proud Platform” for indigenous artistry and crafts of the country.
The 28th “Hunar Haat” of indigenous products of artisans and craftsmen is being organised at Kala Academy, Campal, Panaji (Goa)from today 26th March to 04th April.

2. Harsh Vardhan launches Tribal TB Initiative in pursuit of ‘TB Mukt Bharat’

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan launched the “Tribal TB Initiative”. A Guidance Note on Joint Action Plan for Tuberculosis (TB) Elimination, a Special Edition of Tribal Ministry’s Publication ‘ALEKH’ on TB, and a document on Tribal Tuberculosis (TB) Initiative was also released at the event.

The Election Commission has decided to use Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) along with Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) at every Polling Station, with a view to enhance the transparency and credibility of the election process, as VVPAT allows the voter to verify his/her vote.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, soon after his arrival on a two day visit to Bangladesh visited the National Martyrs’ Memorial (JatiyoSritiShoudho), the National monument of Bangladesh to pay tributes to the valour and the sacrifice of those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km north-west of Dhaka and was designed by Syed Mainul Hossain.

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will be on a two day visit to Tajikistan starting from 30th March 2021.
During the visit, he will have discussions with his Tajikistan counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin covering all aspects of the bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Indian trio of Niraj Kumar, Swapnil Kusale and Chain Singh today won the Gold medal in 50 meter rifle 3 positions Men’s Team event at the ISSF World Cup in Delhi.
The Indian team comfortably defeated the Unites States 47-25 in the final.

10. INDvsENG 2nd ODI: England defeat India by 6 wickets in 2nd ODI at MCA Stadium in Pune

England defeated India by six wickets in the second ODI at the MCA Stadium in Pune. England equalized 1–1 in the ODI series.
