Tokyo Olympics 2020: India's star young boxer player Lovlina Borgohain wins the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Lovlina Borgohain is the first athlete from Assam to win a medal in the 125-year Olympic history.

This is India's third medals so far in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Earlier PV Sindhu creates history to win Bronze medal and Mirabai Chanu won the Silver Medal for India in weightlifting. 

The 22-year-old Lovlina Borgohain suffered a semi-final loss to defending world champion Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey.

Lovlina Borgohain has become the second woman boxer from India to win a medal in Olympic history, let us tell you that before Lovlina, only veterans Mary Kom and Vijender Singh had won Olympic medals in boxing.
