Indian Army team wins Gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2021: A team from 4/5 Gorkha Rifles (Frontier Force) which represented the Indian Army at the prestigious Cambrian Patrol Exercise at Brecon, Wales, UK from 13th to 15th October 2021 has been awarded Gold medal.
General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith, the Chief of General Staff of British Army presented the Gold Medal to the team members in a formal ceremony on 15 October 2021.

Ex Cambrian Patrol organised by the UK Army is considered the ultimate test of human endurance, team spirit and is sometimes referred to as the Olympics of Military Patrolling among militaries in the world.

With a score of 27.5, India has a level of hunger that is serious. In 2020, India was ranked 94th out of 107 countries on the (GHI 2020) index.

According to the latest ranking of the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021, the level of hunger in India is serious, which has increased more than last year. Due to this, India has also lagged far behind its neighboring countries like Bangladesh (76), Nepal (76) and Pakistan (92) in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021. Which is very disappointing, now the time has come that the Government of India (GOI) should also pay attention to the works of public welfare by making a special policy on topics like hunger, unemployment etc.
