Kamdhenu Deepawali 2021 campaign launched to promote Cow Entrepreneurship and Cow based Panchgavya products     

Kamdhenu Deepawali 2021 campaign was launched to manufacture and market more than 100 Crore Cow dung based Deepak lamps and Laxmi-Ganesh Idols.

Kamdhenu Deepawali is to make Cows to be economically useful by proper economic use of Cow Dung and Cow Urine too along with its Milks, Curd, Ghee. More than 300 items are being made now by Panchgavya from Cow. This includes Deepawali items too like – Deepak, Lamps, Candles, Sambrani cup, Havansamagri, Dhoopbatti, incense sticks, Hard board, Wall piece, Laxmi-Ganesh idols etc made up of Cow dung.


West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wins in Bhawanipur by-election   

In West Bengal, the ruling Trinamool Congress has won all the three assembly constituencies where polling was held on September 30.

In the Bhawanipur by-election, Trinamool Congress candidate Mamata Banerjee defeated her rival, Priyanka Tibrewal of BJP by a record margin of 58,835 votes and retained her seat as the Chief Minister of the state. CM Mamata Banerjee got 85,263 votes while Priyanka Tibrewal of BJP got 26,428 votes.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will be on a day-long visit to Meghalaya's capital Shillong today.

During his visit, the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will lay the foundation stone of the up-gradation of NH-40 between Shillong to Dawki at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. The 1,251 crore rupees road project is being funded by the Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA).

The 130th edition of Durand Cup 2021 was held in Kolkata from 5 September to 3 October 2021. The world's third oldest and Asia's oldest football tournament, the Durand Cup, was held in 2021 this year after a gap of one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The prestigious tournament was first held in 1888, at Dagshai (Himachal Pradesh) and is named after Mortimer Durand, who was then the Foreign Secretary in charge of India. The tournament was a conscious way to initially maintain health and fitness amongst the British troops but was later opened to civilians and currently is one of the leading sports events in the world. India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 90.79 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 97.89% 

With the administration of 23,46,176 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 90.79 Cr (90,79,32,861) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.89%. Recovery Rate is currently at its highest peak since March 2020. 20,799 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.63% remains less than 3% for the last 101 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 2.10%. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 3% for the last 35 days and below 5% for 118 consecutive days now.
