World championship bronze medallist Lakshya defeated reigning World Champion Loh Kean Yew of Singapore 24-22, 21-17 in the final match to win India Open Badminton title 2022.

Earlier in the day, India's top-ranked Men's Doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty beat the top seeded Indonesian pair of Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan 21-16, 26-24 in the final in 43 minutes.(inp:newsOnair)
