India, Bangladesh sign 7 MoUs: The Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is on a four-day visit to India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held bilateral meeting in New Delhi. During meeting India and Bangladesh signed 7 MoUs.

India and Bangladesh sign 7 agreements

Seven agreements, including on water resources, railways, science and technology, space technology were exchanged following the talks between India and Bangladesh. This includes an MoU between Prasar Bharti and Bangladesh Television on cooperation in the field of broadcasting.

  1. MoU between the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India and Ministry of Water Resources, Government of Bangladesh on withdrawal of Water by India and Bangladesh from common border river Kushiyara.
  2. MoU between the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Government of India and the Ministry of Railways, Government of Bangladesh on training of Bangladesh Railway personnel in India.
