Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick for France, while Argentina captain Lionel Messi scored a brace and Angel di Maria netted one goal for Argentina.
Argentina has been successful in winning the FIFA World Cup after 36 years. Earlier in 1978 and 1986, Argentina had won the titles.
