Candidates can opt either 4 a or 4 b. 

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

IBPS RRB Clerk Final Results 

The final result of IBPS RRB Clerk is usually declared by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) after the completion of Mains exam and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

The final result is prepared on the basis of the overall performance of the candidates in the main examination. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination.

The cut-off marks for IBPS RRB Clerk exam is decided by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) based on the following factors.

Number of Total Vacancies: The total number of vacancies for IBPS RRB Clerk posts plays an important role in determining the cutoff. If the number of vacancies is less, then the competition can be higher, which can lead to higher cutoffs. 

Number of Candidates: The total number of candidates appearing in the exam also affects the cutoff. 

Difficulty Level of the Exam: The difficulty level of the exam can be an important factor. If the level of the exam is more challenging, the cutoff may be relatively low, while the level of the exam being easier can result in higher cutoffs. 

Normalization Process: Because of having multiple shifts or sessions in an exam, IBPS employs a generalization process to ensure fairness in evaluation. The normalization process takes into account the difficulty level of the exam in different shifts and brings evenness in the score. 

Reservation policy: The cutoff marks as per the reservation policy implemented by IBPS for various categories like General, OBC, SC and ST Etc. can affect the cutoff marks.
