‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme from July 1, 2020

Government of India ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ schemeunder which beneficiaries can buy subsidized food grains from any ration shop in the country will begin on 1 July 2020.

The Centre has given states and Union Territories time till June 30, 2020, to roll out the ‘one nation, one ration card’ system, to use Point of Sale (PoS) machines have been installed in all ration shops.

Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana and Tripura  are the state already providing portability of Public Distribution System (PDS) entitlements.

Since November 2016, the government is implementing the National Food Security Act, under which food grains are supplied every month at highly subsidised rates of Rs 1–3 per kg to over 80 crore people in the country......Read More


Government Launched Jal Shakti Abhiyan for Water Conservation


  'Jal Shakti Abhiyan' campaign launched by Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

The 'Jal Shakti Abhiyan' will focus on five aspects water conservation and rainwater harvesting, renovation of traditional and other water bodies, reuse of water and recharging of structures.

Jal Shakti Abhiyan - a campaign for water conservation and water security. The focus of the campaign will be on water stressed districts and blocks.

  The Jal Shakti Abhiyan has been launched in two phases.

The first phase is 1st July to 15th September and is for all participating States and the second phase will be between 1st October to 30th November for States with retreating monsoon.......Read More


Indian Railways new Time Table released: New All India Railway Time Table known as “TRAINS AT A GLANCE”

The Ministry of Railways has released its new All India Railway Time Table known as “TRAINS AT A GLANCE (TAG)” effective from i.e. 1st July, 2019. In addition to the “Trains at a Glance”, all the 17 Zonal Railways has also released their respective Zonal Railway Time Tables (5 Zonal time tables in all, each Zonal Time Table comprising 3-4 Zonal Railways) which comes into effect from i.e. 1st July, 2019.......Read More


Ministry of AYUSH signed MOU with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology 

Ministry of AYUSH (MOA) signed MOU with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) at New Delhi forcollaborating with each other for digitization of AYUSH Sector.

  MeitY has agreed to advise and give technical support to MOA for planning and development of AYUSH GRID Project.

The National Health Policy 2017 and e-governance initiative of Ministry of AYUSH aims to digitize the entire AYUSH leading to transformation in the field of health care delivery at all levels, in addition to greater research, education, delivery of various healthcare programmes and better drug regulations...........Read More


Finance Commission to visit Madhya Pradesh from 3rd to 5th July, 2019

The 15th Finance Commission headed by Chairman, N.K. Singh will visit the State of Madhya Pradesh from 3rd to 5th July, 2019.

On the first day of its visit, the Finance Commission will have a detailed meeting with the Accountant General of Madhya Pradesh.



On the second day of its visit, the Finance Commission will have a detailed meeting with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath along with his other Cabinet colleagues and senior State Government officers.

 The Commission will undertake a number of field visits while in Madhya Pradesh.
