India - Saudi Arabia Military Exercise Sada Tanseeq begins in Rajasthan

The inaugural edition of India-Saudi Arabia joint military exercise 'Sada Tanseeq' has begun in Mahajan, Rajasthan. India and Saudi Arabia military exercise is scheduled to be held from 29 January to 10 February 2024.

Military Exercise SADA TANSEEQ

A contingent of 45 personnel from Saudi Arabia represented by the Royal Saudi Land Forces, is participating in the military exercise Sada Tanseeq held in Rajasthan.

The Indian Army contingent also consists of 45 personnel, represented by a Battalion of the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry).

The Joint Military Exercise Sada Tanseeq 2024 will include setting up of mobile vehicle check posts, cordon and search operations, house intervention drills, reflex shooting, slithering and sniper firing.

The exercise will act as a platform to achieve shared security objectives, enhance the level of defense cooperation and promote bilateral relations between India and Saudi Arabia.

Exercise Sada Tanseeq: Aims

Aim of Exercise Sada Tanseeq is to train troops of both sides for Joint Operations in Semi Desert terrain under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.

India and Saudi Arabia Exercise SADA TANSEEQ will enable both sides to share their best practices in strategies, techniques and procedures of operations in the sub-conventional sector. This will help in developing interoperability, cordiality and camaraderie between the troops of both sides.
