Raj Kumar Arora took over as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) on August 01, 2025. He has served as Additional Secretary in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Raj Kumar Arora is a 1990 batch Indian Defence Accounts Service officer.

Raj Kumar Arora Appointed As New Controller General of Defence Accounts

Raj Kumar Arora has been appointed as the new Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).

The 1990-batch Indian Defence Accounts Service officer Raj Kumar Arora has vast experience in the areas of financial policy, accounting, audit, budget, procurement, and personnel matters.

Raj Kumar Arora took over the appointment of new Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) at New Delhi with effect from 1st August 2025.

Raj Kumar Arora is a 1990 batch Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer.

The new Controller General of Defence Accounts Raj Kumar Arora has held prestigious assignments in the Government as Additional Secretary in UPSC, Finance Manager (Air) in the Acquisition Wing of Ministry of Defence, and Director in Ministry of Finance.
