Major General Lisamma PV assumed charge as Additional Director General, Military Nursing Service (MNS) in New Delhi. She succeeds Major General Sheena PD who superannuated on April 30, 2025 after serving for four decades. Hailing from Kollam district of Kerala, Maj Gen Lisamma PV is an alumna of School of Nursing, Military Hospital, Jalandhar.

Maj Gen Lisamma PV Takes Charge As ADG, Military Nursing Service (MNS)

Major General Lisamma PV took charge as Additional Director General, Military Nursing Service (MNS) in New Delhi. She succeeds Maj Gen Sheena PD who superannuated on April 30, 2025 after serving for four decades.

Maj Gen Lisamma PV took over the appointment of  Additional DG, Military Nursing Service (MNS) at  New Delhi with effect from 1st May 2025.

Maj Gen Lisamma PV, who hails from Kollam district of Kerala, is an alumnus of the Nursing School of Military Hospital, Jalandhar.

About Maj Gen Lisamma PV

After being commissioned into the MNS in 1986, General Officer Lisamma PV obtained Bachelor's degrees in Arts and Law as well as a Master's degree in Hospital Administration.

Major General Lisamma PV has excelled as an administrator handling various appointments such as Principal College of Nursing, Command Hospital Air Force, (Bangalore); Principal Matron, Command Hospital (Eastern Command); Brigadier MNS HQ (Eastern Command); Brigadier MNS (Admin) Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence, and the recent appointment at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) as Principal Matron.
